This was my mantra when I was a libertarian, before I gave up on politics in 2008 for health reasons. Now that I’m feeling more capable of getting out and doing things, I remain puzzled by people who show up every 4 years and want to *make a difference* as if once every 4 years is enough engagement to see your pet projects get done.
The 2018’s start as soon as 2016 ends. The 2020’s as soon as 2018 ends. Rinse and repeat as necessary.
