…so when Republicans say they are originalists and respect law and order, just remember this resolution. when they say originalist they mean they are anti-constitutional and pro-slavery. When they say they are in favor of law and order, they mean they will make the laws requiring you to worship their god, and they will order you to abide by them.
This resolution amounts to declaring gravity is a myth and stepping off a tall building expecting to float (I’ve also observed this about denying evolution) there’s going to be a mess to clean up, eventually. Like the gravity denier, it won’t be these politicians cleaning up the mess.
Postscript
This should prove to anyone paying attention that Republicans never were for law and order and have been largely made up of White Nationalists since Tricky Dick invited the Dixiecrats to join the Republican party. This proves my later assertion on the blog that Republicans are in favor of returning to the time when slavery was the law of the land. They were like this long before Donald Trump. He just allowed them to say the things that they said quietly right out loud where everyone could hear them.
