Downfall (2005)
The documentary Downfall was based on Until the Final Hour: Hitler’s Last Secretary with secondary information taken from Inside Hitler’s Bunker: The Last Days of the Third Reich. This is a claustrophobic journey into the madness that gripped Nazi Germany in her final days.
Specific pieces of Traudl Junge‘s memories of her time in the bunkers, as documented in her book and in the film Blind Spot: Hitler’s Secretary were incorporated into the film, giving it a feeling of eerie realism. Highly recommended.
